Each attendee will be given a name tag with 3 numbers on it. After collecting your welcome drink, you will sit at the first table number listed on your name tag. So, chances are that you won’t be sitting with the person you arrive with. Your table assignment will then change 2 more times during the evening. Think of it as group speed dating … without the dating part. ?

We did this same fundraiser back in April and many of the attendees had “concerns” about the musical tables format before the event began. However, by the end of the fundraiser, most participants asked us when we were planning to do it again. And we even had one attendee who never sat at any of the tables he was assigned and just sat with his buds. No worries, we didn’t lock him in a dog crate. We only do that upon request. ?

It really is a great way to chat with people you might not otherwise meet. Or catch up with someone you haven’t seen in a while. I promise that it will be a very warm and social crowd. If you have ever been to one of the monthly t-dance events, then you will definitely recognize some of the same people. And you can always reunite with your friends at the end of the event. ?
In the end, it’s about raising money to help the dogs (and cats) out at Contol Canino (SMA’s kill shelter). ?
